the machine is limited--
the computer program
repeats a process:

never failing
never growing
never improving

hidden beneath
a fuzzy blanket of static

the process cannot rely on itself
the program made in mans image will fail

to reprogram or fine tune
brings the machine
half the distance
over and over
yet never reaching
the truth

like the wooden boy
magically alive
animated in
intricate simplicity
yet dead in nature

the incapacity to change
requires a miracle

the computer dreams
and becomes human

the human dares
and becomes free
